John Snellman Jr
Principal Owner & GC
The 4th generation to enter the family business and a licensed Florida General Contractor. He grew up on job sites with his father and grandfather, studied Finance & Management at Fairfield University, and was a four-year starter on its lacrosse team — the same drive he brings to running Snellman.
John Snellman Sr
Principal Owner
A 3rd-generation builder who began running job sites for his father in his early twenties across Connecticut. Alongside custom home building, he brings real estate consulting experience. After 30+ years at the helm, he's passing the reins to the next generation.
Mark Snellman
Principal Owner
A principal owner of Snellman Construction, working alongside the family to continue a legacy of craftsmanship across South Florida.
John Szakats
Head of Operations
30+ years in new home construction. He unites pre-construction, construction, and post-construction with strong leadership — prioritizing quality, scheduling, and relationships with clients, architects, and officials. A former collegiate soccer player.
