John Snellman Sr. – Principal
John Snellman Sr. is a 3rd generation builder and principal owner of Snellman Construction Inc. Senior is a professional builder and developer of custom homes. His portfolio of work includes special renovations and remodeling along with professional construction management. Senior also has industry experience in real estate consulting for both commercial and residential projects large and small.
Senior started running job sites for his father in his early twenties throughout the state of Connecticut. After taking reigns of the company in the mid 1990’s, Senior has been at the helm ever since. With change and growth in mind, Senior envisions passing on the torch to Junior so that he can keep the family tradition of SCI alive.

John Snellman Jr. is the 4th generation to enter into the family business. Junior has a vast amount of knowledge in the construction industry, having grown up on job sites with his father and grandfather. He received his Bachelors in Finance and Management from Fairfield University. Upon graduation, he stepped right into the family business, excited and eager to continue what his family members started. His dedication and work ethic come from his parents, John Sr and Kathy Snellman. Junior has always been a leader; he was a 4 year starter on the Fairfield University lacrosse team. Junior puts forth the same athletic drive into his professional career running Snellman Construction.
